Per the June 2005 Implementation Plan for DNFSB 2004-1, the Office of Nuclear Safety Research (EH-33) was temporarily established as an integrated corporate program to assess, prioritize, integrate and manage applicable nuclear safety research. The October 12, 2006 revision to the Implementation Plan for DNFSB 2004-1 reassigned the corporate nuclear safety research function to NNSA.
